Sam Hughes is a passionate chef who excels in creating fine dishes. Sam was previously the Head Chef at the award-winning ‘The Sir Charles Napier’ in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. The Sir Charles Napier restaurant has won numerous awards including: ‘100 Best Restaurants in the UK’ in The Independent, and was ‘Oxfordshire Restaurant of the Year’ in The Good Food Guide. He has many years of experience working with some of the country’s finest chefs including Mark Broadbent at Mortons of Mayfair, Raymond Blanc at Le Petit Blanc, and Pierre Chevillard at Pebble Beach, following a 3 year apprenticeship in the kitchens of Kensington Place. Sam, and his team at The Marine, are pleased and proud to have achieved national recognition in our first year of trading, by being included in the 2012 edition of THE GOOD FOOD GUIDE, and invite you to sample the finest Hampshire produce in our Cafe'-Bar, Bistro & Restaurant. |
